Wrongdoing in the nonprofit sector making headlines

IRS drops hammer on nearly 4000 DC nonprofits and charities
The IRS announced this week that it had revoked the tax exemptions of some 275,000 nonprofit organizations after they did not meet legal requirements to file annual returns. The original watchlist of candidates for revocation was about 341,000.
Nonprofits, government need to restructure financial relationship
